Release notes
Tenon 0.1.1 beta
This update brings Lightning-generation Magic Mouse 2, Magic Trackpad 2, and A2450 Magic Keyboard support to Tenon, alongside in-app pairing and improvements to device-status reporting.
Added
- Magic Mouse 2 (Lightning, A1657) support over Bluetooth.
- Magic Trackpad 2 (Lightning, A1535) support over Bluetooth and USB, including battery reporting and wired charging status.
- Magic Keyboard (Lightning, A2450) support, with battery reporting over Bluetooth and USB.
- In-app pairing for supported devices.
- Help & report a problem, which opens support with your Tenon version and selected device included. It does not automatically upload diagnostics.
Fixed
- Misleading AirPods connection/in-case status and stale trackpad battery readings when connected over USB.
- Missing Visual C++ runtime dependencies that could prevent Tenon’s background components from starting on a fresh Windows installation.
Installation improvements
- Clearer installation and removal progress, including elapsed time for each stage.
- More secure handling of account and service data during upgrades.
Known limitations
- Wired battery reporting for USB-C Magic Trackpad A3120 may be unavailable on some Windows setups.
- AirPods Max USB-C battery reporting is not supported.
- Custom gesture mappings are not yet executed by the drivers; use the supported built-in gestures.
Website and account updates
These improvements are already available on the website and do not require the 0.1.1 installer: simplified sign-in and account settings, a repaired account exchange, and fixes to the support form, beta confirmation emails and unsubscribe links.
If you previously tried to send feedback and couldn’t, we’re sorry—please try again at tenon.fyi/support.
Updating and feedback
Updating from 0.1.0? Download and run the 0.1.1 installer; you do not need to uninstall first. The account-security update may sign you out once. Sign in again and review your Pro settings, which may need to be reconfigured. Updating does not start a new trial.
If Windows blocks the download or installation, contact support with the message shown.
After trying 0.1.1, use Help & report a problem or the support page to tell us how it went. Include your device model and what happened; we’ll ask for diagnostics if needed.
